Origenes is a family-owned table olives & olive processing and packaging business located in Sparta, Greece. For three generations our family has owned & cultivated this land in the historical valley of Evrotas and now we are proud to deliver our love and passion through products

WHAT WE DO

Each new olive harvest brings us crops from producers in the early days of November of each year. We carefully begin by selecting and sorting the olives and subsequently process and store them. The concluding stage is that of a final sorting and standardization.

Collecting

During the harvesting period we collect the best crop directly from the producers

Storing

The crop is calibrated and stored in appropriate conditions

Processing

Throughout continuous monitoring we make sure our product retains the highest possible quality

Packaging

We offer a large variety of packaging types, customized to your needs

Collecting

During Harvest period from early November till late December -depending on the weather conditions-local producers bring their everyday crop directly from the field to our facilities and we collect and choose only the ones that meet our quality standards.

Storing

The crop is carefully selected, washed, calibrated and stored in special tanks to initiate the process of natural fermentation. This process is 100% natural and takes at least 4-6 months to complete.

Processing

Throughout the entire procedure of the crop processing, strict food safety rules procedures are applied to ensure the end product meets the international standards in food industry while keeping its authenticity and original taste.

Packaging

While our product range keeps on expanding you can choose from our unique retail or food service packages that can make the difference for your clients or we can make your own private label fully customized to your needs.

Facilities

Both our olive oil mill and our table olives processing unit are located in the legendary valley of Evrotas which gives us a significant strategic advantage for collecting top quality olive crop directly from the valley and the surrounding areas

CERTIFICATIONS

Our company operates within an environment that is fully compliant with both the national and international standards for the correct and safe management and standardising of foods, certified to ISO 22000 (HACCP).
